In order to use the Boston Financial Operations Web Portal, you will need the 6-digit Property Identifier number provided to you in our request. If you do not have the Property Identifier, please email Operations@bfim.com to request it; please remember to include the Property Name with your request.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q - I am at the Welcome page. How do I enter my occupancy numbers?
A - Click on the Submit Occupancy icon. You will be brought to a search page where you will need to enter your email address and the 6-digit Property Identifier. Click the Go button, and you will be brought to a screen where you can input the number of occupied units for the 3 months of the current Quarter. With this new enhanced reporting, we will no longer be asking for percentages of occupied units.

Q - What should I do if I accidently click on the Submit Audit and/or Tax Documents icon?
A - In this case, you will have two options; you can either click on the Occupancy icon on the top right corner of the screen or you can click on the Home icon and choose Submit Occupancy.

Q - What if the Property Name on the Occupancy screen does not match my actual Property Name?
A - Please verify you are using the correct 6-digit Property Identifier.

Q - What happens if the Total Units do not match the Total Units at my property?
A - The Total Units number includes both LIHTC and Market rate units. If the number is incorrect, please email Operations@bfim.com

Q - I see occupancy numbers already populated for 1 or 2 months; what do I do?
A - If the numbers you see on the screen are correct for that month(s), input only the missing month(s). If the numbers you see are incorrect, overwrite them with the correct number of occupied units, enter the missing month(s), and click Submit.

Q - What if occupancy numbers are already displayed for all 3 months?
A - This means we have already received the occupancy numbers. Please verify the numbers are correct. If the numbers are incorrect, overwrite them with the correct numbers and click Submit.

Q - What if I have to enter occupancy numbers for multiple properties?
A - Once you enter the occupancy numbers for your first deal and click Submit, you will be brought back to the search screen. From there, you will be able to enter the next Property Identifier.

Q - Do I have to log-out after I have finished entering my occupancy?
A - No, you do not need to log-out of the system. Once you close your browser, your session will end.
